Handmade Fused Glass Gifts Including Our Popular Glow In The Dark Mushroom

One day while sitting at the dinner table (when I was about 6) grandma asks:
"How do you get a little pink elephant out of the jungle?
Everyone just stares. Grandma never told jokes, she was very sweet, quiet and reserved.
As she giggles all the way through barely making out the words,
"Here little pink elephant come out of the jungle!"
Grandma's one & only joke, we heard year after year, day after day. The smallest memory is what keeps us going in life, I see an elephant & remember Grandma's giggle and laughter every time she told it.
Our Family wants to do the same for you by creating unique, quality gifts that can be treasured for a lifetime!
Dec 7th Haddam KilingworthFused glass is artwork that adds both science and math (my 2 favorite subjects) to create amazing art where only your imagination can take you. We cut and stack small pieces of glass together to fuse them in a kiln at temperatures around 1250-1500 degrees Fahrenheit or we use a torch to pull glass into the shapes we want. We go through so much glass experimenting, there are so many different glass techniques that we are always coming up with new and exciting art. Handmade fused glass gifts like; jewelry, ornaments, flowers, birds, lanterns, bowls, platters, Glow in the dark mushrooms and so much more.
Each piece is one of a kind!

I sandwich glass powder between clear glass and fuse for 26 hours. It took hours to cut all the little slivers of glass and add to the top of the fused disc and back in the kiln for another 26 hours. The last step was to mold the new piece into an organic bowl fusing for yet another 26 hours. Pride and hard work goes a long way!
The mushrooms you want around
Enjoy Glow In The Dark Fused Glass Mushrooms all year long. Perfect for indoor or outdoors.
This iris was created as a gift for a special person. I design my art based on people in what I see when I look and think of them. Maybe one day one of my creations will be about you!

Nothing Like A Broken Heart
Each time I break a piece of glass my heart breaks too. As tears run down my face I pick up all the broken pieces and fuse them into these adorable hearts. Each heart comes with a little piece of me.
Proving I'm not afraid to go outside the box and try new things, these illusion plates are a work of art! They took 6 hours to put together and a total of 52 hours in the kiln. This project was time consuming but I learned so much in the process.
